Ingredients

  • 130 g Kabocha Japanese Pumpkin
  • ½ Bell Pepper
  • ½ Onion
  • White sesame seeds to taste
  • 1 tbsp Sake
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mirin sweet rice wine
  • 1 tbsp Sugar

Instructions

  • Cut the pumpkin into 5 mm pieces and the bell pepper and onion into bite-sized pieces.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the pumpkin, onion and bell pepper over medium heat.
  • When the ingredients are cooked, add the seasoning, turn the heat up high, and cook the mixture until it is thickened.
  • Sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
